Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny….Bikini Season

The stormy weather last week was a sign that Hawaii nei was still in Winter Season, but it’s all done and over now (I hope) which, means………….

It’s officially SPRING!!! Woooohooo! Which means it’s BIKINI SEASON!!!!

Okay, okay…I know with Hawaii’s usually sunny skies and ideal paradise climate you can pretty much wear a bikini any day of the year, but I just like the pleasure of thinking we can have Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter here too ๐Ÿ˜‰
Anyway, here are some guidelines to finding the sexiest swimsuit for your body type.

STRAIGHT, ATHLETIC BUILD
*Choose padded tops to add cleavage or pieces with intricate detailing to add interest on your not-so-interesting bosoms.
*Styles such as ring-top bandeaus, ruffled trim swimsuits, and tops with wider neck straps will give you a va-vavoom effect!

TOP-HEAVY, “APPLE” SHAPED BUILD
*Opt for more structured suits to keep your girls in place ๐Ÿ˜‰ you don’t want them too free that you set yourself up for a wardrobe malfunction. Tops with underwire support are your best choice.
*Halter tops are a better selection than triangular or bandeau tops, which tend to smash your boobies together- skimpy AND unflattering.
*Think prints! Patterns keep the eyes busy and are slimming than solid-colored ensembles.
*If you prefer solid colors, go for one-piece swimsuits with details on the midsection area, such as rouching, or gathering of fabric or even an embellishment to create a slimming and flattering division between the chest and hips

BOTTOM-HEAVY, “PEAR” SHAPED BUILD
*Stay away from boy-shorts style bikini bottoms, which cut thighs off in all the wrong places. Select higher-cut bottoms to give legs thinner and longer appearance. String bikinis are a must!
*Tankini is your best friend- great for concealing a heavy mid-section.
*Draw attention on your upper body by wearing bright or printed bikini tops, and darker bikini bottoms.
*A deep V-neck also shows off your sexy upper body
*Go nautical and pair a striped top with a solid bikini bottom- eyes will directly notice the striped pattern and forgets your bottom-heavy silhouette

CURVY, HOURGLASS FIGURE
*Most styles will match an hour-glass figure, the main thing to remember is choose styles that won’t knock your figure out of proportion!
*Remember, simplicity’s best!
*Wear bikini tops with underwire support and stay away from padded styles as they will create a heavier upper body
*Avoid bottoms with side ties or chunky waistband as it will draw attention to your hips, widening your bottom
*Don’t wear bottoms with heavy print design or horizontal stripes, as it will create a bottom-heavy figure. Narrow stripes should be okay.

So my next dilemma is getting this beachin’ body back, because I have been, as you know my darlings…slackin in my fitness ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

I am hoping within the next six weeks to fit into this bikini from VS:
